Plastic in UPVC doors
An average two UPVC doors or a vehicle today might be 2500 pounds, but an average vehicle, perhaps 40 years ago, was perhaps 300 or 400 pounds more than that. Indeed, there are about 300 pounds of plastic in every new vehicle. It’s pretty much guaranteed that that material of a UPVC Door or UPVC Window would not be recycled.
Also, I’d like you to think about coatings of UPVC Doors , the whole idea of coating things. I realized very late in my career that I hadn’t paid any attention to coatings. If you think about the number of buildings that exist in the world, the number of buildings in the United States, think like Sherwin-Williams, the paint industry. You know what their phrase is? You know what their corporate motto is? Their corporate motto is, “Cover the earth.” Their symbol is red paint that is flowing down across the top of a globe.
